OPCC’s annual survey

Date Published: 03/11/2022

Bedfordshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Festus Akinbusoye, has launched his second annual survey for residents across the county to have their say on local policing.

The survey, which launches today (Tuesday), gives residents an opportunity to offer feedback on their views and experiences of different aspects across Bedfordshire Police.

This includes views on local priorities from the PCC’s Police and Crime Plan, the crime types they are most affected by and the services they have had access to, including Bedfordshire Victim Care Services.

The commissioner said: “My role as Police and Crime Commissioner is to be the voice of the public in policing.

“I want to ensure that I provide a broad range of opportunities for people to be heard, share their views and help shape the future of policing in the county.

“People who respond to this survey will be shaping how policing is working in our area and where we need to improve, so I would encourage everyone to get involved and have their say.”

The survey is available via the PCC’s website and closes on 2 December 2022.

A report analysing the data in the survey will be published in the new year.
