OAKLEY PARISH COUNCIL - NOTICE OF VACANCY

ONE vacancy has occurred in the parish of Oakley for a councillor to serve on the parish council.

If ten local government electors for the parish ofOakley give notice on or before the 23rd July 2025 to Laura Church:

Returning Officer, at: room 326, Democratic and Registration Services, Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford, MK42 9AP, or email laura.church(at)bedford.gov.uk that they wish an election to be held to fill the vacancy, then a by-election will be held. If a request for election is hand delivered, please confirm this by email to elections(at)bedford.gov.uk.

If no request is received, the parish can co-opt to fill the vacancy.
