OAKLEY PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF VACANCY

1. TWO vacancies have occurred in the parish of Oakley for councillors to serve on the parish council.

2. If ten local government electors for the parish of Oakley give notice on or before the 2nd November 2022 to Laura Church, Returning Officer, at: room 326, Democratic and Registration Services, Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford, MK42 9AP, or email laura.church(at)bedford.gov.uk that they wish an election to be held to fill the vacancy, then a by-election will be held. If a request for election is hand delivered please confirm this by email to elections(at)bedford.gov.uk.

3. If no request is received, the parish can co-opt to fill the vacancy.
