Bedford Giving is a collaborative, cross-sector partnership formed to improve the lives of children and young people facing disadvantage in Bedford. Everything Bedford Giving does is grounded in evidence of local need and follows the key principle of listening to and learning from people who have lived experience of the issues we are trying to tackle. As a result, this programme has been developed by a panel of young Bedford Borough residents attending Bedford College and they will make the decisions on which applications are funded.
We are inviting funding applications from voluntary sector organisations working with young people, particularly those aged 13 to 19 and looking to fund projects that…
Provide affordable and accessible recreational activities;
Support young people’s mental health and wellbeing;
Develop skills to help prepare for their next steps in life such as life skills, employment, career options and entrepreneurship.
To find out more about this funding opportunities you can visit the Bedford Giving website here: Apply for a Grant - Bedford Giving
There will be a Bedford Giving online applicant information session for organisations who are interested in applying on Monday 28th April at 10.30am.
Two application surgeries will also be held at Bedfordshire CVS for organisations that wish to discuss their application prior to applying or who may like some help in completing the application form. 1-2-1 slots will be available each session.
Friday 2nd May at 2.30pm and 3.30pm
