The Airspace Change Proposal (ACP) has now approved by the CAA and an Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC) published on the 26th August 2021.  This is attached for reference and shows how the corridor is structured into a Temporary Danger Area (TDA).

This means that the National Beyond Line of Sight Experimentation Corridor (NBEC) can be activated and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) operated within it.  For Airspace users note that this include details of a DAAIS and DACS that can be provided by Cranfield ATC.

Due to meeting other related activation requirements it has not been possible to begin to use the drone corridor until now.
The first activation and flights within the corridor are now planned for 23rd September between 08:00 – 10:00 local time.

The time window in which the TDA can be activated closes on the 24th November 2021.
