The police have set their priority for this area for the quarter beginning 1st April 2021 as Vehicle Crime.  This will cover Theft of Motor Vehicles, Theft from Motor Vehicles and Interfering with Motor Vehicles and was the resounding concern following consultation.

The police have set their priority for this area for the quarter beginning 1st April 2021 as Vehicle Crime.  This will cover Theft of Motor Vehicles, Theft from Motor Vehicles and Interfering with Motor Vehicles and was the resounding concern following consultation.

Their focus will be to provide crime prevention and security advice to reduce offending, to conduct engagement events (Covid allowing) to provide this advice face to face, to identify hotspot areas for repeat or high offending and to communicate this to all residents.  In addition, they will patrol hotspot areas to increase intelligence submissions and to identify those responsible.
