Funding opportunity: MAYOR'S CLIMATE CHANGE FUND 2020-2024 (CCF)
If you are part of a:
- Voluntary and community group
- Not for Profit organisation
- Public sector including schools and parish council
- Registered charity
- Social enterprise
and you would like to improve your community group building’s efficiency while saving hundreds of pounds on energy costs, Bedford Borough Council wants to give a helping hand by providing 50% funding match towards projects such as:
solar panels, low energy lighting, upgrades to windows and doors, loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, natural daylight systems, rainwater harvesting systems, external and internal wall insulation, heating systems upgrade, boiler replacement, secondary glazing, solar thermal systems, wind and hydro turbines, and ground or air source heat pumps.
No EPC? No problem – Bedford Borough Council can contribute 50% towards the cost of a new energy certificate.
And eligible projects can receive 50% funding towards pre-application planning advice, too.
