A country walk through the delightful Swineshead Wood and surrounding countryside. Meet with cars at St. Mary’s Church Car Park at 6.30 p.m. when lifts will be arranged and directions given for the route to Swineshead. The walk will start from Swineshead Church at about 7.00 p.m. Boots or stout footwear are recommended. Please bring something to drink. Allowing for a break, the walking time will be about 2 hours. I am suggesting a visit to the Fox and Hounds in Riseley after the ramble to round the evening off.
